Introduced in 1956 as a sister model to the Music Masterāwhich was designed for beginnersāthe Duo-Sonic features a small body that fits comfortably even for players with typical Japanese body types, along with a 24-inch (approx. 610 mm) short-scale neck. It has a loyal following across all musical genres.
The satin-finished C-shaped neck, combined with a 9.5-inch radius fingerboard and medium-jumbo frets, delivers a more comfortable playing experience than ever before.
Equipped with a rear humbucker, it performs exceptionally well when played with distortion, and by pulling up the tone knob, you can coil-tap it for a single-coil-style soundāmaking it a truly versatile instrument.
There are some scratches and dents throughout the body.
The frets have at least 70% of their original depth remaining, the neck is in good condition, and the truss rod is adjustable.
