The Custom Telecaster was introduced in the late 1950s.
The model weāve received features an alder body, a maple neck, and a rosewood fingerboard with a slab-style profileāa faithful reproduction of the 1962 Custom Telecaster.
With features such as the binding wrapped around the body and the āCustom Telecasterā decal on the headstock, it has a distinct look compared to standard Telecasters and remains a consistently popular model.
The strap pins and saddle have been replaced; the pickguard shows discoloration; there is a small clear crack in one spot on the top of the body; there is a dent on the side of the body; the saddle has been replaced with a brass one; and overall, there are signs of wear such as scratches and discoloration.
