It features a classic wood combination: a maple top and mahogany back body, a short-tenon mahogany neck, and an ebony fingerboard.
It is equipped with the original HB-R/L pickups.
Known as āBill Lawrence pickups,ā the HB-R/HB-L was developed in collaboration with Bill Lawrence to meet the high-gain preferences of the era. Combined with this guitarās weight of 4.35 kg, it delivers a strong midrange presence, fast-attacking highs, tight lows, and a well-balanced tone.
