Following the release of a Gibson model featuring the same artist, which went on sale earlier, Epiphone also released this model.
The solid-top, round-shoulder body features a spruce top and mahogany sides and back.
It features scalloped X-bracing, and the down-belly Indian laurel bridge is fitted with a former adjustable bridge from which the screws and other hardware have been removed, along with a large pickguard.
The mahogany neck, with a nut width of just over 43 mm and a 628 mm Gibson scale length, features an Indian laurel fingerboard.
The truss rod cover features a signature imprint, and the guitar is equipped with a Fishman Sonitone pickup, allowing for volume and tone control via the soundhole edge.
There is a large chip in the finish at the top of the headstock, and there are several small dents accompanied by indentations on the lower part of the body top.
There are also some scratches and minor dents.
