The PRS SE CE 24 is a bolt-on neck model with a maple top, mahogany back, rosewood fingerboard, and maple neck, just like the Custom 24.
The CE has a classic sound with a modern PRS touch, and is equipped with 85/15 "S" pickups that produce a clear sound from low to high frequencies, and a wide range of sound making by coil tapping is one of its main features. The instrument features a wide range of sound creation by coil tapping.
The SE CE 24, with its beautiful flame maple top on the veneer, combines rich tone and comfortable playability, making it suitable for a variety of genres.
About PRS SE
Carlos Santana, who has been using PRS guitars as his main instrument since around 1982, suggested that a guitar with the high quality of PRS guitars at an affordable price that even students can afford was needed. The PRS SE series guitars are painted with polyester/urethane paint, but the flame and quilt top guitars are colored with a process called "dough coating" to accentuate the grain of the wood before the topcoat is applied. This is a method typical of PRS where a specially formulated colorant is applied directly to the wood with a cloth, etc., to make the grain of the wood stand out even more. Of course, the wood has its own natural shade, so not all of the coloring is uniform, but the fact that the grain of the wood appears more pronounced than in other brands is a characteristic of PRS.
