★AZ Non-Recess “AZ-N” Limited Model!!
Introducing the new “AZ-N” model from the AZ series—the standard choice for the next generation of guitarists—designed with the concept of “versatile clean tones”!!
This limited-edition model features a “Japanese Ash (Tamo)” top with a beautiful, unique grain pattern that’s sure to catch your eye.

~Features~
Japanese Ash (4mm) Top / Alder Body
Japanese ash (also known as “Tamo”), renowned for its excellent elasticity and durability, is characterized by a unique grain pattern that blends striped and quilted textures. It is widely used not only in musical instruments but also in furniture, flooring, and sports equipment such as baseball bats.
It is known for its excellent projection and a bright, clear, and well-defined sound. Wood with this particular grain pattern is considered rare, and this model luxuriously features a 4mm-thick top made from this material.
For the body and back, we’ve selected alder, which excels in its balanced, bright tonal characteristics and rich sustain.

The compound-radius fingerboard (228 mmR at the nut to 305 mmR at the heel) is crafted from rosewood.
The compound radius fingerboard is designed to accommodate both chord forms played with a tight grip in the lower positions and lead playing on the higher frets.
Jumbo-sized stainless steel frets are used.

AZ-exclusive Oval C-shaped S-TECH WOOD roasted maple neck
This original neck shape was developed by measuring and analyzing the neck grips of dozens of guitar models, both from our own company and others.
The neck is shaped to slope gently from the joint between the fingerboard and the neck to the fingerboard edge, creating a comfort grip with a rounded fingerboard edge.
This shape is accurately and reliably reproduced through ball milling.
It uses maple wood that has undergone “Estec Treatment,” a nitrogen heat treatment technology.
Estec-treated wood is characterized by dimensional stability, resistance to warping, water resistance, and resistance to temperature changes, and the technology is patented in Japan.

"Luminlay" Phosphorescent Fingerboard Side Dot Inlays
We’ve adopted 3.0mm-diameter phosphorescent dot inlays that boast high visibility, helping you adapt to rapidly changing performance environments caused by stage lighting and other factors.
Even on a dark stage, you’ll never lose sight of the notes you want to play.

Cow Bone Nut
Features an oil-impregnated cow bone nut.
This nut provides excellent glide—which greatly contributes to tuning stability—and delivers resonance reminiscent of vintage guitars.

Fortuna Pickup, Co-Developed with Seymour Duncan
Compared to the Hyperion—a pickup developed jointly with Seymour Duncan exclusively for AZ—the Fortuna is a pickup developed specifically for the AZ-N, designed to deliver a more natural clean tone suitable for a wide range of genres and to make it easier to express subtle playing nuances.
This medium-output pickup was designed with compatibility in mind for the various pedal effects that players might use depending on the situation.

Gotoh T1702B tremolo bridge with a brass saddle, mounted in a non-recessed cavity
The top of the body features no recesses.
Because the bridge plate makes direct contact with the guitar body, this design offers improved expressiveness in dynamic range and the reproduction of playing nuances, as well as excellent resonance.

The bridge is a Gotoh T1702B tremolo bridge featuring brass saddles and an inertia block, known for its warm, bright tone and excellent resonance.
The string spacing is designed with a narrow 10.5mm pitch, prioritizing ease of cross-string picking—a requirement for players who frequently use skipping or hybrid picking techniques.
It also features an arm socket compatible with the Ibanez Edge tremolo arm and the Ultra-Light Tremolo Arm (carbon fiber / UTA20 / sold separately).
The tremolo arm can be snapped into place without having to screw it in like traditional arms.
The tremolo arm’s tension can be easily adjusted by turning the torque cap at the arm mounting point.
Furthermore, it comes standard with a stud lock mechanism that contributes significantly to tuning stability and resonance by securely locking the arm in place with a set screw embedded in the stud.

5 tremolo springs with muting rubber
We’ve adopted a five-spring configuration to transmit string vibration to the body even more effectively.
It is equipped with rubber spring mutes installed to suppress “resonance” in the springs.

dyna-MIX 9 switching system with Alter switch
With a single flip of the mini-switch, you can freely switch between humbucker and single-coil modes, offering 9 different sound variations
. The neck and middle single-coil pickups are wired in series to simulate the sound of a 22F neck humbucker.
This switching system is ideal for today’s guitarists who must handle multiple roles with limited gear.

Gotoh Magnum Lock machine heads with H.A.P. function for adjustable post height
Features Gotoh Magnum Lock machine heads, renowned for their tuning stability.
Equipped with the H.A.P. (Height Adjustable Post) mechanism, the post height can be adjusted to ensure proper tension for each string.
